Echo Lake Foods is a frozen food manufacturer established in 1941. Echo Lake is always looking to the future. This -25 degree freezer and 40 degree cooler was built by Katt Construction utilizing a pre-engineered steel frame and 6″ insulated wall panels. Katt received the Customer of the year award from Foremost Building Systems for this project in 2007. What made this project interesting was the close proximity to the existing freezer. In order to meet state fire codes a tricky combination of masonry firewalls and Thermal safe wall panels was utilized.
