The Daily Reporter has named Katt Construction CEO Herb Katt to its Wisconsin AEC 350, a list highlighting the architecture, engineering and construction leaders who are shaping the state's built environment. Each year, the paper's editors choose honorees from across the industry, and we're proud to see Herb among them.
For everyone at Katt Construction, the recognition reflects what we see every day: a leader who treats each project as an investment in the community around it.
Building a Stronger Racine
Herb has always believed that a general contractor's job goes beyond the property line, and that good buildings help make a stronger, more vibrant city. Katt Construction is proud to have played a part in the rebeautification of Racine. Since 1989, our team has helped restore, renovate and build spaces where people across Racine and southeastern Wisconsin live, work, learn and worship.
That belief also shows up in his involvement in the community and in the partnerships he has built with owners, architects, subcontractors and local leaders over nearly four decades.
The Katt Advantage on Every Jobsite
Our crews are known for the way they work: professional, dependable, and focused on quality and safety. Herb set those expectations when he led the company as President for 38 years. He still holds them today as CEO, alongside President Nicholas Katt, who leads day-to-day operations.
Clients often tell us that collaboration is what sets a project apart. When a jobsite runs smoothly, it's because everyone, from the field to the office, knows the standard and owns it. That's the Katt Advantage, and it starts with Herb.
Thank You
We're grateful to The Daily Reporter for this recognition, and to the clients, partners and neighbors who have trusted Katt Construction with their projects. Congratulations, Herb!
